The love for travel and nature came together in this high-rise apartment to create a space that feels cosy and relaxing. The rental apartment came completely unfurnished so we started off with a blank canvas - literally! In the living room the white marble flooring and white walls made the space feel very stark and bland in the beginning, but we came up with some ingenious solutions like this stick-on world map mural to make the space more interesting. The natural feeling is evoked from the variety of plants to the fabrics used as well: linen, wool and cotton. Texture and pattern play an important role here, taking away from the starkness of the space and offering both visual and physical comfort.
